Each year, millions of senior citizens suffer from hunger and starvation. The Meals On Wheels program aims to stop this. I encourage everyone to take part in the Pledge to End Senior Hunger. I have already pledged myself to help raise awareness and funds to stop our senior citizens from going hungry. You can help too. Catching Up
Hi Everyone,
I've had a fun-filled and busy past few months in my preparations for Miss New York. I am pleased to announce that I have my entire wardrobe, as well as a substantial heading on my talent. The music piece I chose is "Warriors" from Michael Flattley's "Feet of Flames", which I will be performing a hard-shoe Irish Step dance to.
I have also been doing my homework for my platform "Protecting Our Seniors: Identifying and Preventing Elder Abuse". I am also looking for more opportunities for community outreach involving my platform, so if you kn0w of any please let me know!
Tickets for the state pageant are now available online at http://missnyorg.com/. Please come out and show your support. Not to mention, it will be a fantastic show!!
Check back to see what I've been up to!

Let Me Introduce Myself
Hi Everyone,
My name is Courtney and just a few weeks ago I was crowned Miss Empire Rose 2010! I'm very excited to be competing in the Miss New York pageant this June at SUNY Albany. I will be competing against some of the most intelligent, well-rounded women from across New York!
The most exciting part, for me is that my two older sisters will be competing as well. My oldest sister, Keelie, is the new Miss Greater NYC and the next oldest(I'm the baby) is the new Miss Mohawk Valley. Already the competition is shaping up to be a tough one! You may wonder what it will be like, competing against both of my sisters. The answer is simple: AWESOME! My sisters are two of the most supportive people in my life and having them with me at State is going to be amazing.(As long as there's no hair pulling!)
Check back with me for more information on what I'm up to in my preparation for Miss New York and my year as Miss Empire Rose 2010!
